Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Must be able to maintain the
equipment in good working condition and to execute planned
maintenance and corrective maintenance. Analyze our existing custom
production machinery for areas of improvement, designing necessary
custom parts for the machinery, and working with the Injection
Molding Department to design the most efficient production layout
in our new facility. This position is also responsible for tooling
changes as well as preventive maintenance and minor repairs of
injection molding tooling. Duties and Responsibilities (essential
duties are italicized ) Performs preventive maintenance to
machinery as scheduled following the proper lock out tag out
procedures. Performs preventive maintenance to injection molds
Performs corrective or reactive maintenance when a line is down.
Assists with changeovers of the machines as scheduled to
accommodate the production schedule. Adjusts the machines
(injection molding, blow molding, automated cells, etc) as
necessary to maintain the productivity on the machines. Leads and
supports continuous improvement projects. Supports new employees on
the proper training of using, troubleshooting and maintaining the
machinery. Keep the spare parts and maintenance work bench and tool
carts in order, clean and safe. Support the safety committee to
ensure all the guidelines and regulations are being followed
Responsible for machine safety and proper operation. Help during
the startup and shutdown procedures in production Fill out the
proper documentation when performing adjustments, preventive or
reactive maintenance. Waste disposal management and proper
documentation Assist with facilities maintenance as needed Performs
in a manner consistent with company Core Values and Purpose.
Attends all scheduled meetings, missing no more than 10% annually.
Clocks in and out for work and lunch with no more than 1 error per
month. Provides excellent customer service. Follows all OSHA and
other safety guidelines. Actively demonstrates teamwork at all
times. Manages any stress on the job, including but not limited to
meeting deadlines. Adheres to company safety standards at all
times, such that no serious (requiring medical attention) injury
occurred during the prior 12-month period. Follows other policies
and procedures such that there are no verbal or written warnings
during the evaluation period. The duties described above are not

needs and remain competitive in the marketplace. Minimum Knowledge,
Skills, and Abilities Required Work environment characteristics

diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years experience working in a
plastic transformation process such as injection molding, extrusion
or blow molding and preferably exposed to machinery brands such as
ARBURG, Wittman, SEPRO and UNILOY At least 2 years’ experience in a
production environment repairing and maintaining injection molding
machinery, injection molding tooling, robotic automation systems.
Excellent understanding of predictive and preventative maintenance
processes. Mechanical skills needed to perform maintenance and must
have proven experience and ability in mechanical, electrical and
electronic maintenance troubleshooting techniques. Able to
demonstrate working knowledge of mechanical/electrical
principles/concepts. Able to read/comprehend instructions given
through electronic/mechanical instruction books, including
electric, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams. Familiarity
with implementing or maintaining equipment and facilities based on
ISO9001 or 13485. Fluently speak, read, and write English. Skilled
in time management. Skilled in multi-tasking. Demonstrated customer
problem solving skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to learn and perform primary functions of positions within
department. Ability to manage stress. Ability to meet physical
demands of the job which include, but are not limited to: walking;
bending; pushing; pulling; sitting for extended periods of time at
a desk using a computer, phone and headset; and occasionally
lifting and carrying items which may weigh up to 50 pounds.
Position spends approximately 100% of time moving about the
production area including walking, standing, sitting, squatting,
reaching, twisting, and leaning. Vision and hearing must be within
or correctable to within normal range. Must work from the corporate
office and be able to work on time on a regular basis during
regular business hours. Must be available for evening/weekend work
as needed. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member
is exposed to production equipment at various times. The noise
level in the work environment is usually moderate. This position is
located in Arlington, TX and the duties are conducted on-site.
Hours for this position are M-F 10:30pm-6:00am OVERNIGHT. This
shift is paid $23.07 $1.00 shift differential for every hour worked
during C shift. zr
