ResponsibilitiesMental Health Outcomes is the leading company in the design and implementation of custom outcomes measurement focused solely on behavioral health programs. We are seeking a Manager, Business Development (MBD) to obtain new business partnerships for our company.The successful candidate will have an interest in personal and business growth, and ownership of the entire sales and marketing process. The MBD will research market opportunities, create and implement marketing strategy, generate leads, launch new products and secure new business with targeted organizations.Mental Health Outcomes' mission is to support behavioral health care quality for consumers and providers through clinical outcomes and consumer experience benchmarking.MHO works with a large number of freestanding psychiatric hospitals, acute care hospitals, residential treatment programs and outpatient providers nationwide. We achieve our mission by focusing on excellent customer care while providing processes, data and analytics/research designed to improve clinical practice and provide decision makers with the ability to assess the impact of system changes on outcomes and quality of care.This is a full-time position, based from our National Support Center in Lewisville, TX.Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.Evening and weekend hours may be required as job duties demand.Travel is minor, (less than 10% expected) as needed to fulfill duties.This is NOT a remote position.QualificationsEssential Core Functions:Successfully develop and obtain new business partnerships, by pursuing activities, which will increase lead generation. Prepare high-quality and effective proposals, presentations, correspondence, and marketing collaterals that enhance and expedite client acquisition.Conduct "cold calls" by telephone and in person to prospective clients. Develop and implement Direct mail/ email campaign Attend appropriate industry trade shows.Prepare financial analyses which analyze the economic parameters of the proposed contractual relationship between the client and Mental Health Outcomes. Develop annual business plan in cooperation with leadership.Conduct periodic market needs and trends analysis to proactively meet changing needs of market(s) served and maintain competitive environment awareness. Provide short- and long-term market forecasts Recommend product or service opportunities to leadership team.Develop and implement marketing strategies to assist Mental Health Outcomes in meeting business objectives.Establish and maintain professional relationships with potential and current clients. Maintain awareness of client contracted services and rates. Provide useful input to MHO leadership team regarding client needs interests and pricing.Negotiate contracts with prospective clients. Negotiate contract upgrades with existing clients. Meet and maintain established performance metricsDevelop marketing budget Prepare and submit accurate, comprehensive reports in a timely manner.Monitor success of business development efforts and campaigns Develop and implement corrective action plans, when necessary. 1.Education, Certification/Licensure, and/or ExperienceBachelor's Degree Minimum 2 years of successful healthcare services sales experience with some exposure to senior hospital administratorsPrior sales experiencePrior marketing experienceMaster's Degree in Business, Marketing or Psychology (preferred) Behavioral Health experience (preferred) 2.
