Description Medical City of Lewisville Neurodiagnostic Technician PRNPosition Summary:The Neurodiagnostic Technician is responsible for monitoring and interpreting Neurodiagnostic data for physicians. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, direct patient care, provision and supervision of neurodiagnostic set-up, patient preparation, monitoring studies in various care settings, and the completion of post study work is essential. This position requires flexibility and adaptability to the changing needs of the hospital. Strong interpersonal communication skills, and responsibility for after hours and weekend call as assigned. Minimum Position Requirements:

• Education
• Post-secondary or college education in a science or health related area preferred.
• Education relative to position in neurophysiology department required.
• Experience
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in EEG preferred
• Special Qualifications
• ABRET EEG registry (R.EEG.T.) preferred
• Current BLS certification from approved HCA vendor
• Specialty certification preferred Degree of Supervision Required: Involves general guidance, supervision, and directions by the Director of Cardio-Respiratory and Neurodiagnostics. The employee will be expected to perform all duties of Non-Registered Neurodiagnostic Technician
