Description:As a medium-sized company with over 400 employees
located across North America, we have a high performing,
family-oriented team working together in support of our customer
first vision. We are looking for a Senior Electrical Design
Engineer in our brand new, state of the art climate controlled
facility located in Lewisville, Texas. The typical work hours are
Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position is
primarily responsible for designing and documenting the
analog/digital power circuits for battery pack, power and thermal
assemblies. Supporting manufacturing with appropriate test
programs, safety practices and instructions. This role will lead
design teams and conduct design reviews both with customers and

Electrical Design Engineer will utilize Mentor Graphics PADS to
transform customer data into schematics and circuit board.Interface
with Program Management to complete quotations, design Gantt
Charts, specifications requirement flow down and project status.The
Senior Electrical Design Engineer will create product Bill of
Materials (BOMs), Gerber files and creating labor sequence/plan in
support the manufacturing and quoting processes.Integrate MATLAB
create beam-forming algorithms into GUI panel using NI
LabVIEW.Collaborate with Sales Engineering and Electrical
Engineering teams to define Electrical requirements in support of
Battery Pack, Power and Thermal assemblies.Develop and release new
product introduction packages, including PCBA designs, tester
design and fabrication, product troubleshooting and battery pack
programming development.The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will
perform part equivalence analysis of electronic boards and
components.Update and maintain manufacturing work instructions,
documentation and test fixtures to ensure drawings and instructions
conform to quality, engineering design and customer
specifications.Coordinate production training in testing activities
to ensure products conform to engineering design and customer
specifications.Develop test plans and approving test results to
qualify design acceptance.The Senior Electrical Design Engineer
will lead and coordinate design reviews in support of DVT (Design,
Validation and Test) efforts for custom products based on design
specifications. Coordinate, support and lead safety agency approval
process (UL, CSA, etc.)Support Supply in supplier qualification
efforts and approval.Initiate, review, evaluate and approve
Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) from both customers and the
production team.The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will mentor
others in good Engineering practices, procedures and
policies.Provide critical thinking and collaborative input on
system designs of Battery Pack, Power, Industrial, and Thermal
assemblies. We're excited if you have:Possession of a Bachelor's
degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university with
major course work in Electrical Engineering. Expert level
familiarity with TI battery pack fuel gauge chipsets and software
tools. Minimum of 7 years of experience electrical design and test
of electronic solutions.Knowledge of Electrical Design software
(PADS) and Microsoft Office products. What we offer our team
