Description:As a medium-sized company with over 400 employees
located across North America, we have a high performing,
family-oriented team working together in support of our customer
first vision. We are looking for a Distribution Center (DC)
Supervisor to work in our Lewisville, TX location. The typical work
hours are Monday - Friday 10 AM - 7PM. The DC Supervisor is
accountable for supervising and coordinating area(s) such as
receiving/stocking, order processing, special programs and shipping
activities within warehouse operations to consistently deliver
desired results. This position is also accountable for providing
technical support to the team; performing ongoing problem analysis
and resolution; and for ensuring safety, security and housekeeping
objectives are achieved. In addition, this position is accountable
for continuous improvement in all areas of assigned responsibility
relative to quality, cost, and timing results. Consider joining a

with us! How you will spend your time:The DC Supervisor develops
and manages productive teams for operations department(s) by hiring
qualified personnel, utilizing effective communication and
motivational techniques, providing ongoing performance management,
rewarding higher levels of performance and by providing effective
training, development and succession planning. Works with DC
Management to resolve personnel problems, particularly those of a
more complex nature.Manages daily activities of DC Area(s) to
ensure that excellent service levels, low transactional cost,
superior quality levels and safety, security and housekeeping
objectives are achieved. Performing area tasks and transactions as
necessary.Daily review of: Inventory adjustments, overcommits,
negative on hand items, lost product, in pick list, orphan orders,
new ALCS, DC Auto Holds, WMS discrepancy and cycle count overview
tasks.The DC Supervisor will analyze managerial reports and
measurements related to the DC.Work with Operations Management,
Sales, Marketing and Finance to understand Customer and Suppliers
requirements, including but not limited to, review of customer's
documentation to determine special programs requirements and
costing.Ensures compliance with ISO/AS standards by ensuring
polices and processes are properly documented and implemented and
by ensuring all employees are trained in standard operations
procedures.The DC Supervisor customarily and regularly directs the
work of 10-20 full-time employees or their equivalent. Makes
suggestions and recommendations for these employees regarding
performance and change of status, including transfer, advancement,
termination, and hiring.Develops and maintains quality and
productivity metrics and implements ongoing plans to continuously
improve DC performance. Performs detailed research regarding
quality issues and implement corrective action plans as needed.The
DC Supervisor effectively performs administrative aspects of
position, including but not limited to, timely completion of
performance reviews, developing and administering corrective action
documents, reviewing timesheets, submitting payroll change forms,
approving vacation and PTO request, coordinating system access and
security levels and maintaining quality records.Ensures equipment
is properly maintained by ensuring preventative maintenance
procedures are followed and by coordinating with facilities and/or
vendors to conduct maintenance as needed.Plans labor requirements
based on operation workloads and skill sets needed and recommends
staffing needs to DC ManagerMaintains effective communications with
peers (on alternate shifts) and additional DC management staff to
ensure operations are seamlessly transitioned.Develops and
maintains functional and cross-functional partnerships and teams to
aid in effective DC Operations. Perform random verification audits
on DC personnel to ensure procedures are understood and
followed.Contribute to the ongoing success of the entire Operations
team by willingly accepting and embracing "other tasks and duties
as assigned" along with willingness to help the department as a
whole.Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, safe and secure
conditionActively cross trains in other areas, as required, outside
of primary job function.The DC Supervisor ensures a safe working
environment for self and others by adhering to established safe
operating expectations and by following established housekeeping
requirements. Notifies management of any observed safety hazards.
We're excited if you have:Possession of a high school diploma, or
equivalent. At least five years of experience in warehouse
operations. Sufficient formal or informal education to assure the
ability to read and write English and compute accurate business
math at a level required for successful job performance.The ability
to lift up to 70 lbs., reach, stand and move.Experience supervising
