Job DescriptionPromote a strong risk culture by using constructive dissent to appropriately challenge using data and analysis.Perform detailed analysis of portfolio trends and develop a comprehensive end to end understanding of Portfolio, cutting across Originations and ServicingPerform analytics to proactively identify issues and red flags and escalate portfolio concerns to the appropriate levels of management in a timely mannerDeliver financial and business performance reports in a timely and accurate mannerProvide drill down analyses to understand variance to forecast and performance trendsWork collaboratively with data analysts to develop of reporting structures, including Visual tools, and routines to help with monitoring Portfolio HealthImplement robust, reliable, and custom reporting and visualizations using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Excel) Use SQL as main tool for data preparation: extracting, cleansing, aggregation, and summarizing data to create meaningful visualizationsSupport the Portfolio Risk manager in creating and compiling storyboards and presentations that provide guidance to C-Level executives via business reviews.Security Clearance Required: NoVisa Candidate Considered: No 2+ to 5 years experienceSeniority Level - AssociateManagement Experience Required - NoMinimum Education - Bachelor's DegreeWillingness to Travel - OccasionallyIDEAL CANDIDATEBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics3-5 years of Consumer Finance industry experience, (e.g. auto, card, mortgage etc.)Ability to work in fast paced environment and manage conflicting timelinesComfortable with appropriate challenge and escalationStrong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively across multiple teamsUnderstanding of risk management concepts and key performance drivers within consumer lending portfolios.Understanding of data mining and analytical techniquesOutstanding analytical, problem-solving and organizational skillsDetail-oriented, deadline driven, self-motivated, and organized individualMinimum 3-4 years of practical experience working with large datasets with SAS and/or SQL knowledgeA minimum experience of 1-2 working with Power BI or any data-specific role with a sound knowledge of database management, data modeling, business intelligence, SQL querying, data warehousing, and online analytical processing (OLAP.)Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analyticsPerform DAX queries and functions in Power BI
