EHS SpecialistEssential Duties and Responsibilities: -The Senior EHS Specialist is responsible for leading the environmental health and safety (EHS) program requirements and improvement of the performance, compliance, and continuous improvement safety culture. Works closely with the Sr. Manager of EHS to ensure all requirement corporate, global, and regulatory EHS program expectations are implemented to standard. Provide safety management expertise to assigned US locations to help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws/regulations and company policies and procedures. Ensure EHS is promoted and championed at the Americas Region locations in line with the Global EHS standards and policies.Qualifications: -To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Bachelor's Degree Required
• 2- 5 years EHS program management in manufacturing setting
• Experience of leading management and influencing others to embrace and implement continuous safety improvement culture
• Ability to manage personnel with strong leadership ability to motivate and coach personnel to accomplish company and global strategic goals
• Valid driver's license and good driving history
• Ability to travel as needed
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA regulatory standards on safety and health
• Environmental management experience
• Incident investigation and root cause analysis
• Problem Solving
• Decision Making
• Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and interface with all levels of management and employees.
• Excellent oral and written communication/interpersonal skills
