This excellent Dallas Manufacturing Company is seeking a Citrix Administrator to join their team of senior level network and systems administrators to be responsible for the daily operations of the Citrix ecosystem. You will have a leading role in any Citrix Cloud initiatives and other Citrix projects, which include managing the storage, compute and Windows operating platforms hosting the Citrix environment. The platform is extremely strategic to the team and mission critical to the business and you will help drive adoption through measurable positive user experiences. There are 1500 team users of XenApp and XenDesktop with an expected 20% growth over the next 18 months. The team is responsible MS Windows servers and related applications, including support and maintenance of AD, Windows server environment, and network-based applications including O365, Azure AD and setup and configuration of Intel server platforms. Evaluate new hardware, OS and work with outside vendors to obtain technical specifications for hardware and operating systems.BACKGROUNDGood experience as a Sr. Systems Engineer with strong experience in a large-scale Windows environments including: Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016, Active Directory, Citrix versions 7.15 and higher, M365, Server Virtualization, Workload Management.Extensive experience with Citrix technologies; XenApp, Virtual Desktop, VDI, Netscaler, XenDesktop, HDX, StoreFront, Director, etc.Extensive experience with Citrix LTSR 7.15 and aboveExtensive experience in deploying security patches and standard Windows updates in a Citrix environment.Experience with RES (or AppSense) profile managementExperience with hybrid Citrix Cloud environments and cloud connectorsExtensive experience in Citrix platform upgrades and managing golden images using Provisioning services and Machine creation services.Experience deploying FSLogix containers for Office365 products including Outlook and OneDrive.Experience in migrations from platforms and solutions to a shared server environment.Strong experience with Microsoft technologies: Server OS, Desktop OS, Active Directory, Office 365, Group Policy, Exchange.Experience with VMWare technologies: vSphere, vCenter, vMotion, Storage vMotion, SRM.Experience with block and file storage technologies from multiple vendors.Experience managing file shares, user profiles and home directories on-prem or in OneDrive.Extensive experience defining, creating and testing Group Policy updates for desktop.Extensive experience creating, testing and optimizing Microsoft Group Policy Objects.Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA) The following certifications are a plus: Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA).RedRiver offers benefits including Major Medical, Dental, Vision, LTD and 401k.
