MEDICAL CITY HEART AND SPINE CLINICAL NURSE COORDINATOR CVICU Full Time Days and Rotating Weekends We are seeking an Clinical Nurse Coordinator for our center to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.The Clinical Nurse Coordinator collaborates with Physicians and surgical team to serve in support role within OR for identified service line. Responsible for maintenance of supplies, instrumentation and equipment needed for surgical cases. Proficient in surgical environment as surgical assistant passing instruments and assisting the physician during surgical cases. Responsiblities include:

• Education and training of staff within the assigned service line.
• Responsible for collaboration and coordination with RN Supervisor/OR Manager/Supply Chain/SPD Leadership regarding instrumentation, supplies, and equipment.
• Responsibility to work closely with the service line for safe and efficient operational outcomes.

Magnet /Pathways Accredited hospitals require BSN at time of hire.Certification in specialty required within 1 year.Completion of charge nurse course required within one year.Other leadership training and activity in professional organizations highly preferred.Experience: Two (2) years of clinical practice in the clinical specialty of his/her unit and leadership/ management experience is preferred.Special Qualifications: Continuing demonstration of clinical and leadership competency. Commitment and understanding of staffing matrix/productivity standard. Committed to the goals of the unit, patient safety initiatives and positive patient experience.Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Demonstrates good organizational skills. Provides safe and appropriate patient care within the standards of nursing practice. Displays judgment and superior problem solving skills.
