As the leader of the Learning and Development function at Orthofix, you will will be responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs that facilitate professional development and continuous learning of employees across the organization.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of position): Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.

  • With the VP of Human Resources, establish and communicate learning and development goals and objectives for the organization.
  • Partner with business partners and line managers to determine training priorities.
  • Design and implement highly effective, results-driven training programs.
  • Establish and deliver ongoing supervisory training programs based on the development needs of varying levels of management. -
  • Develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
  • Develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of learning and development programs.
  • Enhance organizational performance with learning and development activities.
  • Partner with HR team members and business leaders to support employee development needs.
  • Manage overall business plans and budgets for learning and development activities.
  • Regular attendance required.
  • Perform related duties as required.ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: -
    • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
    • Project Management skills
    • 5-7+ years leading leadership and development programs within an organization with direct experience creating training programs and delivering training
    • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) (Docebo, Cornerstone) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) (Workday)
    • Experience in development planning, including career and organizational development
    • Proven ability to align strategic and operational needs with training programs
    • Excellent group facilitation skills and knowledge of effective facilitation tactics
    • Excellent communication skills, including experience preparing training material
    • Knowledge of adult learning processes, instructional design techniques, and evaluation methodologies
    • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels
    • Skilled in coordinating learning and development activities throughout an organization
    • Ability to think tactically and strategically with a focus towards execution and resultsNONESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: -

        • Eyesight and hearing must be correctable to standard level.
