Job Description:

Wonderland Montessori Academy is seeking an AMI/AMS certified Spanish speaking candidate.Must have a strong belief in the importance of the Montessori Philosophy. Responsible for the complete management of the classroom including the supervision of the children and planning and implementation of the curriculum. Direct the student activities; academically, emotionally, and physically in a prepared Montessori environment that challenges each child to reach his/her full potential in these developmental areas. Oversee and coordinate each childs personal care, hygiene and safety, learning activities, specialized programs and positive guidance /discipline. Maintain classroom records and developmental checklist for each child. Ensure that classroom and other play areas are consistently clean and safe. Inform parents of their childrens progress on a daily/ regular basis. Supervise and direct activities of assistant Directress assigned to the classroom. Keep Head of School informed on a timely basis of pertinent issues regarding staff, children, families, and the program. Must enjoy the children and trust in the potential of each child to make good choices. All Directress at WMA should provide an environment that displays respect, courtesy, safety, and positive attitude. Must be fluqent in Spanish. Job Type: Full-time
