Product Quality Leader

We are now looking for a Product Quality Leader to execute E2E
product and process quality leadership in Ericsson US 5G Smart
Factory. The Product Quality Leader will perform the role with a
full product and process quality responsibility, set up and
maintain overall quality assurance and control processes, methods
and tools, look after the quality issues/tasks, improve product and
process performance, control the risks, guarantee the factory
output with the performance complied with both Ericsson and
customer quality standards.

- In June 2019, Ericsson announced its intention to build a
state-of-the-art 5G Smart Factory that will produce 5G and Advanced
Antenna System radios to boost network capacity and coverage to
meet the demand for rapid 5G deployments in North America.
- The Smart Factory will be the first greenfield 5G factory in the
US and will serve as a showcase for the next generation technology
that will shape future ways of working.
- Ericsson's 5G industrial solutions include automated warehouses,
connected logistics, automated assembly, packing and product
handling, and the use of autonomous carts.

- You will be the quality owner of the whole product lifecycle
- Empowers the product industrialization projects by putting
product & process quality high on the agenda.
- Key member of NPI\TPI projects. Define quality targets. Provide
technical information, consequence analysis and possible solutions.
Also supporting with producability, reliability and risk management
input. Provide technical recommendation in each project
- Chairman of the US 5G SMART Factory FRAG (Fault Rate Analysis
Group) and representative of US factory to external FRAG with other
factories and with Product Design Unit.
- Carrying out the continuous yield analysis, claims & repair data
analysis by using necessary systems, tools and quality management
- Lead a cross-functional quality improvement team to fulfill
defined and established quality plan. Ensure the implementation of
product quality control and quality improvement
- Create and develop customer quality support process to have a
quick & good response towards customer complaints or questions.
To be succeessful in the role, you must have:
- Bachelor Degree in engineering or equivalent years of work
- Minimum of 5 years of quality management experience in
manufacturing. Preferred experience in telecommunication industry
or in a electronics manufacturing environment
- Experience in project management
- Solid working background and knowledge on quality management
methods, tools (i.e. 6 Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, FMEA etc.
- Solid experience on statistical analysis and data handling
- Good communication and presentations skills. Must be able lead
and present data analytics in understandable way for both technical
and non-technical audiences.
- Initiative/Proactive ability, result oriented, strategic thinking
and problem solving ability
- Leadership skills and team oriented
- Willingness to travel up to 25% internationally
You might also have:
- PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt
