strengthening the infrastructure, enhancing cybersecurity, and
improving user experience across US Marshals Service (USMS)
districts. This IT modernization initiative is a critical component
of ensuring the effectiveness and security of our nation’s law
enforcement operations. We are looking for an experienced
Performance & Metrics Analyst to join our team on this new

performance measurement and strategic planning. Responsibilities:
Automate and enhance dashboard visualizations to provide clear and
actionable insights to stakeholders. Ensure data quality assurance
by implementing and maintaining data validation processes and
standards. Develop and maintain KPI reporting packages to track and
communicate key performance indicators effectively. Monitor trends
in performance data to identify patterns, anomalies, and
opportunities for improvement. Automate reporting cycles to
streamline the delivery of performance reports and reduce manual
effort. Provide tactical support to senior analysts by assisting
with complex data analysis, reporting, and visualization tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align performance
metrics with business objectives and strategic goals. Develop and
maintain comprehensive documentation for performance metrics,
reporting processes, and data visualizations. Stay current with
emerging performance analytics technologies, trends, and best
practices. Participate in the procurement and evaluation of
performance analytics tools and software. Ensure compliance with
data governance policies and internal standards in all performance
analytics efforts. Conduct regular reviews and audits of
performance metrics and reporting processes to identify areas for
improvement. Contribute to the continuous improvement of
performance analytics strategies and methodologies. Engage in
knowledge-sharing activities and training sessions to enhance team
skills and capabilities. Qualifications: Required: Active DoD
Public Trust clearance or US citizen with ability to obtain Public
Trust upon hire Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business
Analytics, Statistics, or a related field (additional years of
experience may be considered in lieu of degree) Minimum of 5 years
of experience as a Performance & Metrics Analyst or in a similar
analytics role Proficiency in dashboard automation and
visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) Strong skills in data
quality assurance and validation processes Experience in developing
and maintaining KPI reporting packages Expertise in monitoring
trends and identifying patterns in performance data Experience in
automating reporting cycles and processes Strong problem-solving
and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Desired: Certifications such as Certified Analytics
Professional (CAP), Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, or
equivalent Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling
techniques Familiarity with business intelligence (BI) tools and
platforms Experience in a specific industry (e.g., finance,

influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic
location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract
wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and

location, the range shown is the national average for the position.
The proposed salary range for this position is: $75,200-$158,100
