doing The VGS Order to Bill Team enables predictable excellence in
systems, channels, policies, and processes for our customers and
employees. We blend business and technical knowledge to unlock
efficiency and process excellence through problem-solving and
collaboration. The team leverages a deep understanding of the
Verizon technical and business process ecosystem to make strategic
business recommendations on how processes can be re-imagined using
technology to deliver improved business outcomes. Our goal is to
ensure seamless and error-free experiences for both customers and
internal employees. This encompasses accuracy in ordering, billing,
and other operational functions, including software, network
components, customer activation, and maintenance activities. We
actively identify revenue leakage and potential sources of customer
dissatisfaction; managing the end-to-end resolution of all issues,
processes, and solutions, considering the needs of all business
functions and sales channels. This position requires an individual
with a strong desire to ensure we produce the highest quality
product for our customers every day, capable of independent
decision-making, with a thorough knowledge of our products and
services; including exceptional technical understanding of our
order and billing systems. *Responsibilities * Lead and collaborate
efforts associated with improving processes and creating solutions
within the Order-to-Bill pillar. Responsible for improving customer
journeys impacting over $100B in revenues annually, as the position
will have a direct impact on the day-to-day sales, service, and
billing experience of the Verizon Consumer Group. Play a key role
in streamlining and improving customer journeys within the
Order-to-Bill pillar and will engage in active partnership with the
marketing, frontline support systems, as well as other IT and
operations teams. Establishing, evolving, and retiring business
capabilities to drive business value and achieve business goals
Defining tech-driven roadmaps that are aligned to and enable
business goals with multiple stakeholders Creating detailed process
maps of existing processes, identifying opportunities to streamline
and reduce errors. Developing strategic plans for capabilities to
close identified gaps. Clearly and objectively articulating these
plans by detailing the capability’s framework and its
interconnected components and models, which include value streams,
stakeholders, resources, and processes. Partnering with business
stakeholders to define strategy, working with other GTS leaders to
understand the business needs and enable platform capabilities to
bring the strategies to life. Partnering closely with Revenue
Assurance to enable proactive controls to improve customer and
billing experiences. Defining success metrics for fixes and
enhancements, creating processes to monitor and evaluate the
effectiveness of process improvements against success metrics.
Leveraging high levels of influence across business and technology
enterprise organizations, extensive business knowledge, and
innovative problem-solving skills. Developing forward-looking
roadmaps & value based on strategic goals, business processes, and
technology enablers for assigned initiatives. Living and
implementing the Verizon Credo. What we’re looking for You’ll need
to have: Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work
experience. Six or more years of relevant experience required,
demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military
experience, or specialized training. Knowledge of Verizon ordering,
billing, marketing and sales architecture, and/or business
processes. Experience with large-scale projects and ability to
manage and successfully launch multiple, complex projects and
manage numerous activities while maintaining exceptional work
productivity with high quality. Even better if you have one or more
of the following: Knowledge of multiple functions within the
business. Experience with Agile delivery . Experience with IT
architecture and Business Processes in Telecom with sales and/or
service-related experience with large, diverse teams. Experience in
process improvement, and process design and documentation;
including the ability to evaluate and monitor the impact of
improvement efforts. Strong communication, presentation,
decision-making, and negotiation skills; with proven ability to
successfully communicate ideas and recommendations to all levels
within the organization. Experience in collaborating with a diverse
set of stakeholders to get results across multiple groups and
disciplines. Self-initiative and persistence, ability to deal with
a high degree of ambiguity, and drive clarity in key areas.
Negotiation skills to navigate in a complex matrixed organization
and align a broad range of stakeholder interests in pursuit of a
common goal. Organizational skills to coordinate and manage
multiple cross-divisional work processes and projects. Experience
with quantitative, and analytical skills; deductive reasoning and
problem-solving skills. Experience to synthesize information from a
variety of sources and translate it into effective and actionable
information. Experience to collaborate cross functionally to
develop strategic initiatives and deliver measurable outcomes.
Experience with writing SQL queries and scripts using relational
databases like Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server and pulling data from

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that
includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed
job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based
position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your
compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours. The annual
salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition
based on a full-time schedule is: $120,500.00 - $231,000.00.
