Hadoop Platform Engineer > Position type: Contract> Duration:
12 months> Location: Hybrid 3 days onsite in Charlotte, NC and
Newark, DE As a(n) Hadoop Platform Engineer > you will: Details:
Details: Top 3 skills: 1. Cloudera CDP Hadoop Administration with
strong background in Unix and Infrastructure 2. Spark, Python,
Pyspark 3. Hive, Impala 4. Ozone Required Education: Bachelors
Characteristics of a top performer; Self-motivated, needs minimal
direction and strong analytical skills. Deal Breaker Items: Lack of
experience in large Hadoop environments. Other required skills: • 7
years of hands-on experience in software development with 2 years
of hands-on experience in Data Engineering • Strong understanding
of Java or Python • Collaborate with Solution Architects and
technology groups to designing, developing, and maintaining
software solutions • Experience working on Agile teams • Excellent
verbal and written communication skills Preferred Skills: 1. Strong
background in SQL 2. 5 experience in Hadoop, Cloudera is a plus 3.
Strong experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting Overall
scope of work: Take ownership of project related tasks and be on

supporting a new initiative. As part of the SDP Solution Center
team, the candidate must possess a passion for producing high
quality data solutions, be ready to jump in and solve complex
