Purpose of JobWe are seeking a talented Infrastructure Engineer to support Linux administration and automation for our offices in San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Charlotte, NC, Colorado Springs, CO, Tampa, FL or 100% Remote Work Environment.


Summary
Responsible for creating, modifying, maintaining and supporting infrastructure and individual system components that enable business functions and IT Services. Balance availability, security, efficiency and functional requirements to help provide an optimized production service.   • Bachelor's degree in related field of studyORCertification from an approved technical field of study,OR4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required.
    • 4+ years of infrastructure experience demonstrating depth of technical understanding within a specific discipline(s)/technology(s)Preferred Education/Experience:
      • 4 + years of Red Hat Linux system administration experience (RHEL -6, 7, or 8)
      • Experience with Dev/Ops automation, Configuration Management, and -Monitoring Tools, such as Satellite, -Puppet, -Tanium, Rundeck, and Sensu
      • Knowledge of or experience with physical hardware and/or servers

You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The salary range for this position is: $88,200 - $158,900* (this does not include geographic differential, it may be applied based on your work location)Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
