Job Description:
Salary : 50,000 / YearlyPosition Summary: To manage the
operations of donated merchandise in accordance with established
business practices for the success of a retail store by ensuring
customer/contributor service, developing sales and controlling
expenses.Duties & Responsibilities:1) Punctual and dependable
attendance.2) Manage budget and maintain expenditures in accordance
with the Agency, departmental, and store financial goals.3) Comply
with Agency policies and Donated Goods Retail standard operating
procedures (SOPs) and the Agency's safety and security policies and
procedures.4) Hire, train, evaluate, motivate, develop and
supervise all store personnel to maintain and exceed the Agency's
operational standards.5) Greet and assist donors/customers.6)
Resolve any complaints and communicate with the management team.7)
Maintain proficiency for tasks required in all workstations.8)
Monitor and maintain overall store appearance, including
cleanliness of sales floor and housekeeping to Agency standards.9)
Perform all functions performed by store personnel.10) Conduct all
monthly meetings with store employees.11) Maintain all company
records and reports accurately and in a timely fashion.12) Attend
all meetings and training as required by the Agency.13) Meet store
sales goals and operate within budgetary guidelines.14) Oversee
production and rotation of merchandise.15) Ensure quality of
merchandise and proper pricing.16) Provide excellent customer
service and train employees in customer/ contributor service
skills.17) Accountable for daily reports, payroll and daily sales
reports.18) Abide by the policies and procedures as set forth by
management.19) Review and be familiar with Goodwill Dallas safety
policies, programs and procedures and adhere to all safety rules,
regulations and safety codes. Attend safety training and meetings
and report any unsafe work conditions, accidents or injuries
immediately.Education & Experience:1) High School degree or GED,
preferred.2) Associates Degree or completion of related retail
management course work preferred.3) 5 years of experience in a
supervisory role of 20 or more employees and/or demonstrated
success in a DGR leadership position with completion of Goodwill
assigned training.4) 2 years in a retail setting preferred.5)
Ability to transfer to any Goodwill Dallas within the territory.6)
Must be 21 years old.7) Valid Driver's License and Car Insurance
Verification, required.8) Ability to speak, read and write the
English language.9) Reliable transportation and communication,
required.10) Bilingual a plus.Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:1)
High level of attention to detail.2) Excellent verbal and written
communication skills.3) Strong organizational skills and the
ability to work on several projects at once.4) Strong sense of
internal and external customer service.5) Ability to adapt to
growth and a changing environment within the Agency.6) Good math
skills, reading skills and basic accounting knowledge.7) Good

demonstrate adherence to timelines and schedules.10) Good follow

skills.12) Demonstrate resourcefulness and ability to take
