Job Description:
Aveanna Healthcare, a premier provider of home healthcare and
pediatric therapy services, is seeking a passionate and dedicated
Feeding Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This
role is pivotal in assisting patients, particularly pediatric
populations, to manage and overcome feeding and swallowing
difficulties. As an SLP specializing in feeding, you will assess,
diagnose, and treat infants and children with feeding and
swallowing problems in the familiar and comfortable setting of
their homes. Our ideal candidate is someone who is not only skilled
but also compassionate and committed to making a meaningful
difference in every family's life. Assess and diagnose feeding and
swallowing disorders in pediatric patients. Develop and implement
treatment plans based on each patient's specific needs. Educate
family members and caregivers on the patient’s therapeutic
protocols and ways to support their health goals. Collaborate with
other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care. Keep
detailed records of patient progress and adjust care plans as
needed. Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in
feeding therapy. Advanced knowledge of pediatric feeding and
swallowing disorders. Skill in using diagnostic tools and
evidence-based treatment methods. Excellent communication skills,
both for interacting with children and providing clear guidance to
families. Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
effectively. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current state licensure as a Speech Language
Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language
Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing
Association (ASHA). Preferred: Additional certification or training
in pediatric feeding disorders.
