Must-Have: Experience with preemies (at least 28 weeks and above)
Management of central lines Respiratory management up to and
including intubated patients Description: Join a dynamic NICU team
that is dedicated to providing exemplary care. This unit consists
of 108 beds with patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:4. Staffing includes
RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs. The unit is equipped with nasal
cannulas, bubble CPAP, vents, oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS, warmers,
and isolettes. The documentation system used in the unit is CPN and
Meditech. Shifts consist of three 12-hour shifts per week, with
rotating weekends and holidays. Contract staff are floated before
regular staff, with possible areas including PICU, Pediatrics, and
CICU. Candidates should have experience with surgical patients,
cardiac patients, and care of trach infants. Advanced skills such
as central line insertions, circumcisions, exploratory laps,
gastroschisis reductions, and PDA ligations are required.
Unit-specific policies and guidelines will be provided. The unit
values teamwork and has a supportive environment with experienced
