shifts) - Hours per Week: 40 - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,860 –
$2,000 Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active and unencumbered
Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state - At least
1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Progressive Care
Unit (PCU), or acute care nursing - BLS certification (American
Heart Association) required - Proficient in cardiac monitoring,
telemetry, and clinical assessment skills - Strong communication
and teamwork abilities Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities -
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from
cardiovascular surgery in a cardiac stepdown setting - Monitor
cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and respond rapidly to changes in
patient condition - Administer medications, cardiac treatments, and
interventions as prescribed - Collaborate with multidisciplinary
healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on post-operative cardiac care and
recovery - Document patient care and progress accurately in the
