Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - PACU /n/n Job Details: /n • Provide post-anesthesia care unit nursing services /n• Monitor patients recovering from surgical procedures and anesthesia /n• Assess patient vital signs, pain levels, and overall condition during recovery /n• Collaborate with surgical teams and anesthesiologists for optimal patient outcomes /n• Ensure patient safety and comfort during the post-operative recovery period /n• Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare team members /n• Follow established protocols for patient discharge from PACU to appropriate units /n/n Facility: /n This 186-bed healthcare facility in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area is recognized for its comprehensive medical services including 24-hour emergency care, Level III NICU, and specialized women's services.
