Job Description Join Baylor Heart & Vascular Hospital (BHVH) Dallas as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac ICU and be part of something better! /n 2 years ICU Experience Required (cardiac ICU preferred) /n BSN preferred /n National Certification preferred (CVN, CCRN, etc) /n Schedule is three 12-hour shifts per week, 7P-7A. Plus additional meetings Wednesday & Thursday mornings /n /n Patient Population: Post Cardiology Interventional, Post Vascular Surgical/Interventional, Advanced heart Failure. True Cardiac ICU- CRRT, Impella, Swan, AIBP, etc. No open hearts, CABG, or ECMO. This unit operates as a Cardiac Universal Bed (CUB) in that they have Cardiac ICU and Cardiac Telemetry patients. QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION - Associate's Degree - MAJOR - Nursing - EXPERIENCE - (2) Two Years of Experience - CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -Registered Nurse (RN) - Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer.
