Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN)
CVICU for a nursing job in Dallas, Texas. Discipline: RN ~ Shift:
12 hours, nights ~ Employment Type: Staff Join Baylor Heart &
Vascular Hospital (BHVH) Dallas as a Registered Nurse in the
Cardiac ICU and be part of something better! $10k Sign on Bonus!
Full-Time Night Shift 7p-7a Must have 2 years related experience to
be considered for $10,000 sign on bonus. Patient Population: Post
Cardiology Interventional, Post Vascular Surgical/Interventional,
Advanced heart Failure. True Cardiac ICU- CRRT, Impella, Swan,
AIBP, etc. This unit operates as a Cardiac Universal Bed (CUB) in
that they have Cardiac ICU and Cardiac Telemetry patients. All
nurses on the unit must be comfortable caring for both. Candidates
MUST have minimum of 1-year recent, full time ICU RN experience.
Shift: FT/Nights | 7p-7a | Three 12hr shifts per week, rotating

priority. As a Registered Nurse, will oversee patient care provided
by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Your
responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health
issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. You,
as an RN, will conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize
patient and family needs, create, implement, and evaluate care
plans. Building relationships, managing discomfort, staying
professional are vital in therapeutic connections with patients and
families. Creating care plans reflecting values aids in resolving
issues. You will help educate patients, families, nurses, and
community members to empower them with knowledge for better
healthcare choices. Assess and document learning needs regularly.
Work with colleagues and community to create a care plan. You'll
use different strategies for problem-solving with patients,
families, and staff. Recognize limitations and prioritize safety,
effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and
delivery. Contribute to peers' development, show community service
commitment. A deep understanding of nursing and patient care
standards, as well as procedures. Know nursing laws, rules,
standards, and guidelines in your area. Understand hospital
procedures and rules. Proficiency in medical terms, focusing on
health, disease prevention, management, common meds, and their side
effects. Respect for medical and professional nursing ethics and
patient privacy rights. Exceptional communication skills, allowing
for clear expression of thoughts both verbally and in writing.
Basic computer skills, encompassing areas such as Microsoft Office,
information security, scheduling and payroll systems, electronic
