We are looking to add a full time Dental Hygienist to our dental family.Someone passionate about what they do, wanting to work together with the Doctor & team to treat patients and promote good oral health practices. Our ideal candidate will love patients of all ages, have deep knowledge of relevant health & safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases & anomalies. If you have a steady hand, a big heart and a great bedside manner, wed like to meet you.A minimum of two years of dental hygienist is preferred.Open Dental experience is preferred.*RESPONSIBILITIES *(not limited to):* Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination* Sterilize dental instruments properly* Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history* Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis* Clean and help protect patients teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)* Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)* Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures* Take X-rays or dental impressions* Maintain documentation and records on each patient* Monitor supplies*SKILLS -** Prefer experience as Dental Hygienist, at least 2 years / willing to train new grads* In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)* Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment* Outstanding communication skills* A patient and friendly personality* Attention to detail* Valid TX hygienist license*BENEFITS (part time benefits may vary):** Health Insurance* Life Insurance* Generous PTO & Paid Holidays* 401k match* Aflac Supplemental insurance* Dental Coverage* Continuing Education Opportunities* Commission & Quarterly Bonus OpportunitiesWe look forward to hearing from you!Job Type: Full-timePay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hourBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to FridayLicense/Certification:* Registered Dental Hygienist (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
