Description SHIFT: PRNSCHEDULE: PRN/Per Diem

Work Schedule: - PRN Seasonal





70 per hour and 4K completion bonus for qualified applicants!



PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
--- Completion bonus to be paid after the successful completion of 16 consecutive weeks of employment while meeting all shift requirements during that time period. Only one (1) completion bonus will be paid per 36 week season.
--- All seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period. If the RN commits to a 4 shift per week schedule during the 16 week seasonal period, they are eligible for the higher hourly rate.

Position Summary & Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse - RN - Endo - Endoscopy is responsible for assessing the operative nursing care needs of patients, planning interventions and evaluating outcomes of care. The RN is responsible for providing care, which is appropriate for age specific (pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics), the developmental and safety needs, the planned procedure, and the anesthetic agent used. - The RN will communicate and educate the patient and/or their family members and/or significant others regarding events pertinent to their care. - The RN also anticipates and plans for the needs of the surgical team and coordinates the care provided in the endoscopy room while maintaining an aseptic and safe environment.






Qualifications Minimum Position Requirements:

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: - -
  
  
  a. - - - Current TX RN license
  
  b. - - - BLS (AHA) Certification
  
  c. - - - ACLS (AHA) Certification within 6 months of employment if RN has experience; new Graduate within 12 months.
  
  
  
  
  
• Education: -
  
  
  - - - - - a. - - - BSN preferred.
  
  - - - - - b. - - - ADN required and if no BSN then required to achieve BSN within three years of hire date -or will be separated from employment.
  
  
  
  
  
• Experience: Staff RN's not hired in a graduate nurse or intern status, must have a minimum of two years recent nursing experience in area of practice in an acute care setting.
