Work Schedule: - Full Time Day Shift (Exempt)Medical City Lewisville is focused on providing high-quality care to our community. - As a Magnet - recognized facility, license for 186 beds, we are a leader in the DFW market for quality metrics, and Nursing satisfaction performance according to the National Database of Nursing -Quality Indicators.Come join a team where Nurses say: "It's very much like family here. - Everyone is friendly and gets to know one another. - We take pride in the fact we have such a friendly culture while still being able to deliver exceptional care that rivals larger organizations."Position Summary & Responsibilities:TheRegistered Nurse Employee Health - Occupational Health is responsible for -pre-placement assessments on potential new ASSOCIATES, including but not limited to drug screen specimen collection, Tuberculosis screening and testing, immunization administration, and fit testing. - Completes assessments necessary due to promotions and transfers, and performs ASSOCIATE annual Tuberculosis screening, -fit tests, vaccine administration, and color vision testing. - Reports ASSOCIATE illness trend to Infection Prevention committee. - Maintains ASSOCIATES health/medical files. - Completes necessary paperwork for reporting and filing on-the-job injury and illness claims. - Maintains OSHA log. - Monitors and maintains contact with ASSOCIATES off work and/or on restricted duty due to on-the job-injury or illness and contacts physician for status report. Reports ASSOCIATE injury trends to the Employee Safety and Security committee. - Responsible for all clerical/office functions related to position. - Responsible for ASSOCIATE health education and all other duties associated with the position.directs shift to shift activities; provides leadership and direction in accordance with organizational and department goals and philosophy; provides support to departmental management team; assists with staff scheduling; participates in on-call as determined by management team.We offer you an excellent total compensation package, including competitive salary, excellent benefit package and growth opportunities.
