Description SHIFT: PRNSCHEDULE: PRN/Per DiemPRN - 20 hours per week - 7:30 am to 4 pm w/call availability Medical City Lewisville, is focused on providing high-quality care to our community. This process includes assessing the needs of each assigned patient and planning the nursing care needed to meet those needs. Once planned, the RN II is responsible for assuring that the plan of care is carried out through his/her performance and leadership. Such services are provided while maintaining a clean and safe environment. In addition the RN II in the Special Procedure/Imaging will have validated orientation and competency in Imaging. Provides services to all age groups. (Infant-Geriatric)The Radiology Nurse (RN II) regularly functions as a primary or relief charge nurse and is responsible for coordinating and supervising the nursing care needs of patients in the Imaging Department.Qualifications Minimum Position Requirements:1. Licensure/Certification/Registration: a. TX RN license or RN Compact State Licenseb. BLS (AHA) certificationc. Must have certification in ACLS (AHA) and PALS (AHA), or attainment within 6 months of hire.2. Education: a. ADN required.b. BSN preferred. If hired into RN required position after September 2014 and no BSN, then BSNrequired within three years of facility date.3. Experience: a. Minimum of one-year experience in Radiology, Outpatient Surgery, ICU and/or Recovery Room is preferred.b.
