Position Summary & Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse Sepsis Coordinator Responsible for knowing the
patients at the unit/microsystem level, interprofessional communication to meet
patients' needs, and lateral integration of care. Accountable for patient safety and quality
outcomes for a narrowly focused patient population in a particular
unit/clinical setting. Assimilates and
applies research-based information to design, implement, and evaluate patient
care with a point of care focus.

Qualifications

Minimum Position Requirements:

1.
Licenses and Certifications:

a. Current
RN license to practice in the State of Texas or RN Compact State License

b. BLS (AHA)

c. ACLS (AHA)

2.
Education

a.
BSN in nursing required.

b.
Master's a plus

3.
Experience

a.
Minimum of two years of RN
experience in an acute care setting.

4.
Special Qualifications

a. Communication skills requirements

b. Computer and keyboarding skills requirement

c. Special skills related to the position
