Job Description:
Supervise Producibility & Process Engineers. Perform RCA (Root
Cause Analysis) to resolve manufacturing process-related quality
issues. Support production processes (ESS, EMS, Supply HUBs) and
participate in maintenance activities of production equipment.
Review mechanical design solutions from a production point of view
and provide feedback to design departments. Participate in Pre-dev
and Early Phase study activities and EGPP forum (Ericsson Generic
Production Platform). Develop proposals for different production
process sets and product design changes. Prepare IP (Implementation
Proposal) and Guide and Grip documentation. Collaborate with PDU
and Producibility Engineering groups to resolve mechanical issues
in production. Investigate root causes and develop and design
solutions to resolve issues. Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodology
for production process design and development. Coordinate with
product design and process engineers to establish product
feasibility within the automated process. Develop proposals to
implement production processes and adapt the product. Use CAD to
draw concepts of fixtures, tools and auxiliary equipment, defining
dimensions and tolerances.. Secure the installation and
availability of utilities (power, compressed air, data) according
to documentation prepared with RFP. Evaluate processes during the
commissioning phase (cycle time, product quality, maintainability,
safety, ergonomics). Contribute to New Production Introduction and
Maintenance projects. Drive SPVR process (Serial Process
Verification Run) and prepare SPVR reports. Develop, implement, and
maintain cost efficient SMA processes. Develop the SMA (Surface
Mounting Assembly) process to launch new products. Supervises 11.
You will bring: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in
Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in
manufacturing engineering and industrial engineering for new
product development; production development processes; and, DFM
(Design for Manufacturability). 2 years of experience to include:
manufacturing engineering and industrial engineering for
telecommunications hardware; defining packing requirements to NPI
(New Product Introduction); designing automated processes for
packing; driving SMA process efficiency; producibility elements of
solder printing, oven profiling, and underfill processes;
Supporting new product introduction including work instructions,
process routing, and process flows; Automated process
implementation to include process design and improvement, 6 axis
robots, Automated Optical Inspection, automated material feeding
