HOYA Vision Care - North America is seeking an experienced National Accounts Director - ECP Channel to represent our complete line of optical lenses and laboratory services to the eye care professionals. The Director of National Accounts is responsible for leading the team of strategic account managers and managing the relationship with strategic partners and customers. The Director of National Accounts will be the key point of contact with strategic accounts and partners' senior leadership. The Director of National Accounts is also responsible for achieving sales objectives and growing sales volume for Hoya Vision Care products and services within targeted strategic accounts and partners, as assigned. The Director of National Accounts will lead the Strategic Account Managers in the process of onboarding new customers and expanding customer coverage within strategic partners and groups. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Key point of contact with strategic accounts and partners' senior leadership.
  • Leading strategic account managers.
  • Sales performance and customer relations of strategic partners and customers.
  • Developing a trusted advisor relationship with the strategic customers and partners to help them not only grow their branded products sales but their overall business.
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with their lab partners to ensure successful customer relations and achievement of sales objectives.
  • Work with the strategic account managers so they can consistently achieve established sales goals.
  • Communicating with District Sales Managers, Regional Sales Director & SVP Sales on an ongoing basis regarding plans of action. Account PLANNING:
    • Monitors and analyzes market to determine account volume, potential and needs.
    • Monitors key competitor activities within the region including understanding competitor pricing in the marketplace and gathering competitive intelligence that is readily available in the marketplace that is not protected in nature.
    • Possesses detailed understanding of strategic partners and strategic customers, potential opportunities, and needs, and creates credibility in business planning activities.
    • Supports the building and implementation of growth strategies for key customers and partners. Reviews plans with Strategic Account Managers on a quarterly basis.
    • Effectively utilizes analytical tools and software applications to manage Territory accounts (Power BI and SFDC). Account SERVICE:
      • Works with the strategic account managers to anticipate customers and partner needs/issues, addresses proactively, resolves customer issues in a timely manner and uses the opportunity build a stronger relationship.
      • Effectively completes requested tasks from management and corporate office in a timely manner.
      • Plan and execute training and development programs that will accelerate the sales performance of higher volume accounts currently using HOYA products
      • Analyze and identify ASP growth or additional SOW opportunities with existing customers and implement training and education initiatives to increase sales.
      • Establish a trusted advisor relationship with key customers and partners to help them not only grow their branded products sales, but their overall business.
      • Utilize corporate tools and applications to document, plan, monitor, and meet objectives. KEY COMPETENCIES To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

        • Written Communication - Demonstrate the ability to produce well written customer programs and documentation.

        • Motivation - Sets and achieves challenging goals; demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles; measures self against standard of excellence.
        • Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; arrives at account meetings and on-boarding appointments prepared and on time.
        • Dependability - Follows instructions and responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments and commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.           • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
          • Demonstrated sales results with a minimum of 5 years outside sales experience
          • Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
          • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
          • Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
          • Customer service or client relations experience strongly preferred
          • Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) per Hoya's MVR policy as driving is an essential job function.
