Arteriors is seeking to fill the important new role of Creative Marketing Director based in our corporate facility in Dallas, Texas. The Creative Marketing Director will oversee the brands marketing creative function and team, ensuring the development of all brand vehicles are of high-quality, artistic, and creative for our discerning global design trade clients across the residential and commercial sectors in multiple sales channels. As Creative Marketing Director, you will lead the visual experience in all print and digital output as well as partner with visual merchandising on creative needs for our showrooms and exhibit spaces. Strategic vision, cross-functional partnership, passion for quality and ability to inspire great creative work focused on defined marketing objectives is foundational to this role. With the Arteriors new branding having launched in September 2021, this role will be instrumental in continuing to canvas the new look and feel of the brand through photography, video, and new mediums throughout all marketing channels (traditional, web, email, social, etc). This role will also collaborate in global marketing planning including the Guest Designer program.

The ideal candidate is a retail or wholesale, luxury home (or fashion) brand veteran leader with a strong appreciation, understanding and passion for home design and luxury branding. A decision maker with leadership and communication skills responsible for the overall look and feel of the brand who can manage all creative planning, production, and execution; and inspire and empower teams to produce their best results.

This role will report directly to the VP, Marketing & Visual Merchandising. Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development of the annual Marketing Plan and associated supporting strategies, working closely with VP, Marketing & VM, product management, and sales leaders to achieve channel strategic goals.
  • Creative direction and oversight of Arteriors advertising and marketing programs to promote Arteriors' brand, acquire leads, and support sales efforts across all channels in areas of:
  • Promoting Arteriors brand and luxury aesthetic.
  • Collateral oversight, advertising, industry events, photography and video shoots, and digital initiatives.
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, photography, color theory, typography, and the application of artwork on web pages.
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of interactive communications and delivery systems, processes, and user interface design as well as industry best practices.
  • Print and web design capabilities: must know how to work in both media for integrated campaigns.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience in design, brand development, interactive commerce, and creative process.
  • Ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
  • Ensure that our creative assets remain cutting edge and steps ahead of our competition by staying abreast of design, marketing trends, and competitor marketing and product activities.
  • Continue to elevate and deliver consistently branded design assets that support the strategic goals of the brand.
  • Lead and mentor the Creative Development team creating a positive, productive, and collaborative work environment that inspires great creative and career development.

  • Luxury, Home, and Fashion-obsessed, with a passion for fashion (preferably home) and lifestyle imagery.
    • 8-10 years of experience in the role of a creative service (mix of agency and in-house is ideal).
    • Demonstrated talent for high-caliber creative concepting at the multichannel campaign level (print advertising, print and digital collateral, website, email, social) and translation into styling and photography.
    • Ability to deliver on creative concepts and clearly communicate design decisions to others.
    • Catalog and other Marketing print assets. Pre-planning/ pre-production expertise required.
    • Strong communication skills in writing and verbally and through presentations.
    • Strong technical skills, CS5 or above Expert in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Basecamp
    • Experience with Adobe AfterEffects, Adobe Premiere is a plus for this position
    • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Actionscript is a plus
    • Solid knowledge of retouching, composition, color theory, and incredible attention to detail.
    • Positive, collaborative, hands-on, and energetic attitude.
    • Design portfolio demonstrating a range of branding, typography, print, digital design, and composition skills across multiple marketing platforms.
    • Ability to navigate efficiently and juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, self-led environment.
    • Passion and appreciation for the product including quality and details to translate creative concepts that communicate product value propositions in marketing assets.
    • Demonstrated ability to set and manage creative budgets (including photo studio) and manage productivity/efficiencies while delivering the on-brand look and feel priorities.
    • BFA/BA in Graphic Design/Visual Communication/Art & Architecture History is preferred
    • Retail/home fashion editorial experience including art direction experience in home design editorial is preferred.
    • B2B luxury/ high-end designer and/or showroom experience preferred.
    • Omnichannel or multichannel experience preferred.by Jobble
