Job Description:

** Two (2) openings are available for this position. **The Applications Development Group Manager (C14) is a senior management level position responsible for leading the Control Monitoring Automation department, and for the design, development and validation of new automated control monitoring solutions (e.g. Digital Monitoring Tools) in coordination with multiple business, control and technology/data teams.Responsibilities:The purpose of this role is to lead a department of highly technical data analysts tasked with:

• Partnering with technology to identify the specific data sources, and underlying data elements, that will be used to automate the monitoring of business controls (100% full-file monitoring vs sample-based)
• Producing a standardized, handoff package to document the technical requirements needed for accelerated code development
• Serving as technical subject matter expert in the design/development of daily, full-file automated control monitoring reports using SAS/SQL programming language in Unix, mainframe, and SAS EG/Grid environments.
• Executing initial data quality assessment on required input data sources as well as performing validation of monitoring report output
• Formulating and defining scope and objectives for complex, high-impact digital monitoring solutions and problem resolution through in-depth analysis and evaluation of complex business processes, systems and industry standards
• Works closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Systems Analysts to determine and document Systems impacts and support requirementsQualifications:
  • 10+ years of relevant consumer financial services industry experience, with extensive knowledge in consumer lending with particular focus in operations.
  • Proven record of achievement in leading an analytical team with discipline and process.-
  • Demonstrates an ability to anticipate and react appropriately to important changes in the business direction and customer behaviors and preferences.-
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to engage and influence business and technology stakeholders across levels within an organization on complex technical concepts
  • Knowledgeable about how organizations work; knows how to get things done both through formal channels and the informal network
  • Strong People Management experience 5+ years.
  • Excellent people leadership skills, with the ability to envision a different future state and motivate and inspire others to create it
  • Understanding of Citi data environment is strongly preferred.Education:
    • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
