DevelopmentHow you'll make a difference? At the initiative of the
Chief Executive Officer, Chief Legal and Development Officer, and
Global Business Unit Presidents, and in accordance with corporate
directives, is responsible for implementing a comprehensive
internal and external business development plan to increase
revenues and profits. Participates with key stakeholders and
decision makers in the key markets worldwide to generate and
maximize business opportunities through inbound or outbound
licensing or M&A transactions and activities. What will be your
Duties and Responsibilities?-- Nothing in this job description

leadership ability to effectively achieve the following:
- Participates with company officials in developing and
implementing a strategic marketing plan and coordinating
opportunities for business units worldwide.
- Develop a competitive analysis and research of the marketplace
to provide business advice to the business units.--
- Monitor external and internal environment for business trends
and development of attractive new market segments.
- Regularly communicates market conditions, strategies and plans
to the management teams in a supportive and/or consultative
role.
- Leads by example in practicing exceptional performance
management skills, including but not limited to hiring, developing,
and evaluating staff performance.
- Provides leadership to ensure a work culture that maximizes
employee talents, promotes a high performance work environment, and
demonstrates consistent performance management, mentoring,
coaching, and career development practices.
- Provides the leadership to promote Orthofix or partner products
and services that will achieve success in new markets, increase
market share, and obtain a competitive position in the industry in
a manner which provides the maximum possible return of investments
for Orthofix resources.
- Confers with President and Corporate Officers in reviewing
market conditions, business achievements and challenges and
discussing required changes in goals or objectives resulting from
current status and conditions.
- Provides leadership in the planning and development of the
company image and its relations with customers, employees,
stockholders, partners, and the public.
- Leads by example in consistently achieving optimal results and

in Business, Finance, Accounting or related or related technical
field is required, MBA is strongly preferred. Must have successful
strategic, transactional and tactical experience within the
orthopedic or similar medical device sector. Previous work
experience must demonstrate significant achievements in project
planning, business development transactions, meeting and exceeding
sales and revenue objectives including but not limited to increased
market share, new product development, new market opportunities,
and expanded distribution channels. Must demonstrate leadership
skills consistent with the organization's expectations. Ten (10)
years of experience, with five (5) years experience in
M&A.Medical Device experience preferred but not required.
Language/Mathematical Skills:Language Skills Required -
- The ability to read, analyze and interpret business documents,
legal agreements, procedures, periodicals and professional/clinical
journals.
- The ability to develop and write procedures, reports and
correspondence relating to a broad range of functional
