Position Summary The National Retrofit Sales Manager is responsible for the retrofit and service sales at all NationServe locations. This position is to train, coach and mentor the retrofit salesperson. To this end, they are responsible for successful attainment of sales and profit targets, market penetration, including mix, margin and new product management. Leverage their relationship with marketing to help drive incoming calls and quality leads plus determine metrics for successfully achieving the sales and profit goals. Essential Duties Ability to lead, motivate and mentor a remote sales staff Ability to gather pricing information for the purposes of generating cost/sell pricing Ability to evaluate the needs of customer and convey them in direct sales situations Participate in the direction, strategies, and implementation of all programs or policies. To creatively develop customized programs for their territory Develop strategies to obtain new accounts and strengthen relationships with existing accounts Develop and execute strategic growth plan Promote sales of the company---s products and services offered by the appropriate area of responsibility Report energizing industry trends to management and research and development staff Communicate new business opportunities and market intelligence to the company Demonstrate effective negotiating skills in all aspects of interaction Demonstrate problem-solving skills, good judgment, and the ability to achieve consistent high levels of results Develop call metrics for sales staff Develop marketing programs, to enhance leads Qualifications and Requirements A minimum of 5 to 7 years in a sales management role In-home retrofit sales experience A positive individual who is extremely professional with high integrity plus a strong work ethic. Demonstrates the ability to give and earn respect. Honors confidentiality. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation skills with the ability to demonstrate our brand to both small and large groups with marketing tools and manuals. Good listening skills. An enthusiastic, energetic individual with a commanding presence and strong customer relationship building skills. Must have strong negotiation and sales skills. A self-confident and assured individual who is able to command respect, think quickly and work independently. An entrepreneurial spirit who is able to work as a member of the team. A goal-oriented individual who is able to think creatively and demonstrates consistent achievement. Must be a self-motivated professional with the ability to engage, possessing excellent selling skills. Must have strong organizational and analytical skills; responsible time management and timely reporting required. Ability to think and operate both short and long term, be able to hit sales numbers without sacrificing long term goals. Must possess a strong mechanical/technical aptitude and be good with numbers. An understanding of the construction industry with the ability to understand plans and specifications Must possess computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. A versatile individual with the ability to handle multiple cultures, as well as strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide conflict resolution. A risk taker, resilient with proven mental and physical tenacity. Aggressive, not afraid to fail or make mistakes. A self-starter who is competitive in nature. Ability to handle multiple projects and / or tasks. A strategic sales professional with the ability to sell to the end user. Experience with consultative selling. Can see beyond traditional sales channels. Think strategically in terms of distribution and end user management (multi-dimensional thinking). Education Requirements College degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred Valid Driver---s License Ability to work remotely and travel up to 50%
