The Hardware Quality Engineer will provide quality engineering
support to Raytheon programs to ensure compliance with contractual,
company, and regulatory requirements. Use critical thinking
resources and methods to improve product design; minimize
inspection; resolve manufacturing defects/problems; complete such
specialized quality functions as data preparation, analyses, and
reporting. Perform product and process audits for compliance to
various standards and product requirements. Support process
improvements initiatives. Support Process Failure Modes & Effects
Analysis on processes and products to prevent product defects and
mitigate risk Support implementation of product Quality Control
Plans Lead and support root cause and corrective action activities
Act on all applicable material, product and equipment alerts to
prevent impact to product reliability using the nonconformance
and/or purge process Manage dropped and damaged hardware processing
and incident reporting. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project). Qualifications You Must
Have Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Math, Science, or
Technology or other STEM related field of study Minimum two (2)
years of experience in the field of quality, operations or
manufacturing engineering OR in lieu of a degree, a minimum of six
(6) years of engineering related experience. Experience with AS9100
or ISO9001 Quality Management systems Previous experience with
First Article Inspections (AS9102) and/or Advanced Product Quality
Planning (AS9145) Experience with GD&T, Geometric Dimensioning
and Tolerancing measurement resources and practices Experience with
technical procedures, specifications, standards, and other
engineering and manufacturing documents The ability to obtain and
maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize. Familiar with Six
Sigma methodologies [e.g. Kaizen, Lean,
Define/Measure/Analyze/Improve/Control (DMAIC), and
Define/Measure/Analyze/Design/Verify (DMADV)] and resources [e.g.
Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Statistical Process Control (SPC),
Capability Analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Measurement
Systems Analysis (MSA)]. Experience working in an aerospace-related
manufacturing environment Familiarity with Project Management
techniques Familiarity with microelectronic fab, manufacturing and

role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a
good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
considers several factors when extending an offer, including but
not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities,
a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and
