Primary responsibility is to perform vehicle troubleshooting,
repair and maintenance work on chassis and truck mounted aerials,
digger derricks, cranes, high rail and other equipment, in
accordance with dealer and factory standards, either at the service
center or in the field. This position will be responsible for the
vicinity of the Mid-Atlantic states. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities Must work safely in a fast-paced environment –
many times under pressure or with deadlines, in both shop, and
field/jobsite environments. Work in shop environment between field
assignments Open to on-going training and certifications as
necessary Determine overall condition of machines through
inspections. Diagnose issues with hydraulic and electrical systems.
Restore equipment to working order with urgency. Exhibit positive
interaction with all Custom Truck One Source employees and
customers. May be required to assist with in servicing on-site for
customers including complete machine set up and tear down. Willing
to travel for extended periods including overnight stays.
Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as
those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes. Complete all
documentation, paper and electronic, that is required for the job.
Technician must also comply with all expectations listed in the

Qualifications/Responsibilities Required Skills and Qualifications
Must have current CDL, Chauffeur’s License, Medical Card Must be
well versed in onboard computer systems, electrical, driveline,
hydraulics, troubleshooting and diagnostics. Ability to use a
circuit tester and/or multimeter. Ability to read wiring diagrams,
electrical and hydraulic schematics. Experience in diesel, gasoline
engines Experience troubleshooting PAT, LMI and similar on-crane
control systems. Creative thinking skills to make continuous
improvements. Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical
boards and crane operations and site safety. Basic rigging
knowledge and experience in the heavy construction environments
Ability to use PC, Tablet, Phone to complete accurate records of
all services completed. Must have an excellent attitude and work
ethic and openness to change. Must be able to work in a team or on
your own with little or no supervision. Ability to pass drug and
background screens. High School Diploma or GED Strong communication
skills Must be self-sufficient. Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Ability to complete DOT, ANSI Crane or Bucket and Dielectric tests
highly desirable. Individuals with current crane and bucket
certifications are preferred. Working Conditions The job is
performed under extreme temperature variations and some hazardous
conditions. Must be able to safely operate equipment at heights up
to and exceeding 100 feet. Physical Requirements Occasional
lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and
balancing on ladders and platforms of heights above 42”,
significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
throughout an 8–12-hour day, and up to 60 hours per week. This job
