On-site LHH's Supply Chain & Engineering Team is partnering with a
leading metals manufacturer in Arlington, TX to identify a Quality
Manager who will play a critical role in ensuring product
integrity, customer compliance, and continuous improvement within a
heat-treating, heavy industrial environment. This is a highly
visible leadership role for a quality professional who thrives in
regulated manufacturing settings and enjoys driving standards,
systems, and accountability across operations. Note: Due to the
nature of the operation, this position is considered
safety-sensitive and works in a heavy industrial environment. The
Opportunity The Quality Manager is responsible for establishing,
implementing, and maintaining a robust quality management system
that meets customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.
Reporting to the General Manager, this role has the authority and
organizational freedom to identify quality issues, initiate
corrective actions, and stop work when standards are not met. This
position leads the Quality function on site and partners closely
with Operations, Engineering, and Customer teams to ensure
consistent, compliant, and high-quality outcomes. Salary Range is
up to 130k and there are bonuses 15 Days PTO 5% 401k Match HSA and
HRA options with health insurance plans Key Responsibilities Lead
and maintain a documented Quality Management System aligned with
customer, regulatory, and internal standards Directly manage and
develop the Quality team , including training, performance, and
daily priorities Drive continuous improvement initiatives ,
ensuring cross-functional ownership and measurable results
Establish, monitor, and act on key quality performance indicators
(KPIs) Review customer RFQs, purchase orders, and changes to
identify and integrate quality requirements into planning Serve as
the primary quality liaison for customer audits, source
inspections, and process surveys Coordinate internal and external
audits, corrective actions, and associate qualification programs
Maintain supplier qualification and process approvals to ensure
compliance with quality standards Interpret and apply aerospace,
automotive, industrial, and commercial specifications Actively
promote safety, environmental responsibility, and good housekeeping
practices Participate as a member of the site leadership team and
support broader operational objectives Qualifications & Experience
Required: Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy or Materials Science
Hands-on experience with commercial heat treatment of industrial,
aerospace, and/or automotive alloys (steel, aluminum, titanium,
nickel, copper, brass, etc.) Minimum 3 years of department
management and 2 years of direct supervisory experience Strong
working knowledge of AMS, ASTM, ISO, AS, QS, TS , and related
quality systems Experience with PPAP processes and
blueprint/specification interpretation Proficiency with Microsoft
Office, ERP systems , and quality databases Strong written and
verbal communication skills Detail-oriented with the ability to
meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment U.S. Citizen or
Permanent Resident (ITAR compliance required) Preferred / Willing
to Obtain: Six Sigma Green Belt Experience with business analytics
tools Exposure to or interest in Lean manufacturing and
sustainability initiatives Work Environment & Physical Requirements
On-site role in an industrial manufacturing setting Ability to
stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs Exposure to heat,
noise, fumes, and humidity Frequent bending, stooping, reaching,
and pulling Strong visual and communication abilities required for
