Rate: $22.00-$25.00 **Shift: 10 hour shift M-Th - 5:30 pm - 4:00 am
**Candidate must interview GENERAL SUMMARY: Under the direction of
the Test Supervisor or Engineering Manager, the Engineering
Technician will perform technical evaluation of new and existing
devices, and develop process, tests, and documentation required to
support all production repair functions. PC hardware & software
maintenance and troubleshooting skills are essential. Attention to
detail and proficiency in analog, digital and RF disciplines is
required. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: Repair NPI Device
Analysis 65%, Production Support 20%, Returns and Failure Analysis
15%, Review new launch documentation and perform first article
build. Provide feedback to the Process Engineering team regarding
NPI process and documentation accuracy. Perform Repair associate
training for new launch product. Perform Returns analysis to
identify process improvement opportunities. Technical liaison to
Engineering with regards to line impacting escalations. Level 2/3
failure evaluation to include RF. Component, & programming failure
analysis. New product process and document support to include but
not limited to: Assembly/disassembly. Functional inspection.
Flashing/provisioning. RF test. Label generation. Hand programming.
Technical troubleshoot. Packaging specification. BOM creation &
yield analysis. Reclamation. Coordinate with Assurant Process
Engineering, QA, and Materials associates to address line impacting
component escalations and determine alternate source components.
