CornerStone Staffing is now hiring! We're seeking a detail-oriented Safety Clerk for a respected company in Gainesville, TX . This is a full-time, on-site role for someone who takes pride in ensuring compliance, safety, and accurate administrative processes. Must be proficient in Excel . Job Details: Location: Gainesville, TX (100% on-site) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Pay: $20.00/hour Job Type: Full-time, temp-to-hire Key Responsibilities: Maintain compliance documentation for drivers, including: Bi-annual Motor Vehicle Records Driver Medical Certifications Verification of Medical Examiners Medical certification registration with appropriate states Driver CDL verification Annual clearinghouse updates Monthly equipment inspections Bi-annual DOT inspections for owner-operator equipment Keep driver records updated and ready for annual reviews Input, terminate, or flag (red tag) drivers in the AS400 system and other platforms Update driver permit books as needed Prepare and manage accident kits for drivers Handle visitor sign-in processes Answer and transfer incoming calls professionally Assist with vehicle licensing and registration Perform additional administrative duties as assigned Ideal Candidate Will Have: Strong background in Excel Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication with internal teams Ability to manage multiple compliance documents with accuracy Previous experience in safety, compliance, or transportation support (preferred but not required) If you're ready to bring structure and efficiency to a safety-driven environment, we want to hear from you!
