• Fun environmentJob DetailsJob Details:This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team in the medical industry as a Permanent Staff/Senior Accountant. If you are a professional with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for finance, this could be the perfect role for you. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for handling a variety of accounting tasks, including reconciling balance sheets and income statements, preparing month-end reports, and managing P&L. You will also play a crucial role in budget processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial information. This position requires a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and familiarity with MS Dynamics, GL, and Fixed Asset Accounting.Responsibilities:1. Reconcile balance sheets, income statements, and A/R to ensure accuracy and compliance.2. Manage and oversee fixed asset accounting, including depreciation, note interest, and amortizations.3. Prepare month-end P&L and balance sheet reports, highlighting any significant variances to the budget.4. Handle residential revenue and revenue reserves, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.5. Manage prepaid expenses, accruals, and amortizations to ensure accurate financial reporting.6. Analyze and report on variances, providing explanations and solutions as required.7. Participate in budget processes, assisting with the preparation, review, and analysis of the budget.8. Stay up-to-date with changes in the healthcare industry, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.9. Utilize MS Dynamics and GL to manage and maintain financial records and reports.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the healthcare industry.3. Proficiency in MS Dynamics, GL, and other relevant accounting software.4. Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting, including depreciation, note interest, and amortizations.5. Experience in managing balance sheets, income statements, A/R, and P&L.6. Strong understanding of residential revenue and revenue reserves.7. Familiarity with prepaid expenses, accruals, and amortizations.8. Ability to analyze and report on variances, with a strong understanding of budget processes.9. Excellent analytical skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.10. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial staff.11.
